vStack platform developer and IT company CROC become partners
Russian developer of hyperconvergent platform vStack became an official partner of one of the leaders in the Russian IT market – IT company CROC .
The cooperation with the developer of vStack will allow CROC to provide customers with a high-tech solution aimed at the development of IT infrastructure and business as a whole. vStack is included in the register of Russian software and can replace the platform from VMware, which has left the market.
The hyperconverged solution was developed based on the idea of using standard server hardware and consists of software-defined data center modules integrated into a single infrastructure.

At the core of vStack is a proprietary FreeBSD-based operating system with a thin hypervisor, a software-defined storage layer based on ZFS, and a proprietary network stack design. Combining these technologies allowed to achieve high efficiency of the solution. As a result, companies will be able to cut costs by eliminating expensive hardware and continue to operate in a turbulent market.
