Participation in GAGAR>N's Cosmonautics Day business party

April 12, 2023 server equipment manufacturer GAGAR>N brought partner companies together on Space Day to discuss joint plans and projects as part of the course towards technological sovereignty. The developer of the enterprise-level data center platform vStack partnered with conferences, and a company expert gave a presentation on the advantages of the hyperconvergent approach.

200 Russian companies took part in the event in the Cosmos Loft Hall. 14 speakers from the largest Russian companies made presentations on market trends and the latest virtualization technologies.

In the course of the event, participants presented new products and talked about the technologies that were the basis for their creation, and shared their opinions on the state of the market. For example, GAGAR>N team told about their customer service support system, presented the system of network element management and a set of integration tools that facilitate the management of third-party systems. Representatives of Orion Soft presented the features of the zVirt platform.

The vStack expert made a detailed presentation about hyperconvergence. Hyperconverged infrastructure is predicted to become ubiquitous by 2025, overtaking competitors. The head of development of the vStack hyperconverged platform talked about the benefits of this transition and explained why hyperconverged infrastructure is the future of IT. Currently, for most users, hyperconverged solutions account for 48% of all infrastructure. As early as next year, that figure is expected to increase to 56%. Users believe that ease of management of such solutions is the most common reason to switch to a hyperconverged approach (36%). Security and the ability to consolidate IT infrastructure were cited by 33% of users, and 32% cited operational efficiency as the key benefit of hyperconvergence.

After the official part of the event, the entertainment program on the space theme was started, conducted by guest DJ Groove. All guests of the conference participated in a buffet, during which GAGAR>N partners were able to communicate and make contacts in an informal atmosphere.
