ITGLOBAL.COM has launched a preferential licensing program for the vStack platform

In April, the developer of vStack announced the launch of discounted licensing for the hyperconverged platform for educational institutions, libraries and museums. The program will run until August 31, 2022.

Academic licensing allows organizations to purchase the perpetual right to use vStack at a lower price than the normal cost of commercial software. At the same time, members of the discounted program can use the hyperconverged solution on the same terms as regular users.

For example, the Managed vStack remote administration option is available for academic licenses, which allows the vendor to outsource all routine infrastructure management processes.

Academic licenses under the discounted program are available to customers with confirmed educational status: public and private institutions, training centers, libraries, museums, and charitable organizations.

“The preferential program is designed to help Russian public and private educational institutions prepare their infrastructure for the new school year: make it more stable and scalable,” said Vasily Belov, executive director of ITGLOBAL.COM.

Hyperconvergent solutions integrate computational and network resources, data storage capabilities and virtualization tools into a single platform with a single point of control. This greatly simplifies infrastructure administration and scaling, and significantly reduces business IT costs.
