Cloud & Connectivity: Betting on proprietary approaches without open source

For nine years, the conference Cloud & Connectivity attracts industry leaders in the field of cloud services and all those interested in business continuity opportunities in the cloud environment. This year, experts from such companies as Gazprom Neft, Heineken, VKontakte, VTB Bank, Aeroflot, and others registered for the event. One of the partners was vStack, which has developed an enterprise-class platform for creating virtual data centers.

The organizers of Cloud & Connectivity 2023 organized a comfortable space for a dialogue between the main participants of the cloud services market and their clients. Those present at the event voiced their position on current market issues and jointly sought ways to develop.

Today, vStack is one of the partners of Cloud & Connectivity 2023. Its booth was popular with cloud providers. Visitors watched the presentation of the vStack Service Provider Panel and received detailed information about the platform that enables virtual infrastructure management. It turned out that many providers are already aware of the vStack solution. Some of them are in the process of testing pilots or implementing the platform in their company.

Cloud providers noted the importance of a self-developed solution and its advantages over a copy of open source products.

“Our booth attracted a lot of visitors to the conference. Cloud providers asked questions about the platform, took tests. Especially pleasing was the fact that most experts already knew about our solution. Many told us that they paid attention to vStack because of its unique technology and self-development. This approach is inherently more difficult than copying off-the-shelf open source products. And it was important for us to get the support of experts.

Evgeny Karpov, Development Manager of the vStack hyperconverged platform

Cloud & Connectivity is an annual conference for the interaction of professionals in the field of service model implementation and cloud services, multi-clouds and hybrid IT architectures, which is supported by the RF Ministry of Digital Economy in offline and online formats.
