CIO CLUB IT directors visit vStack office

In mid-March 2023, SPB CIO CLUB members got acquainted with the design and operation of the vStack platform in the company’s office. CIOs of leading St. Petersburg companies met with their colleagues to discuss the development prospects of the virtualization systems market and the challenges faced by this sphere.

During a meeting with experts from vStack, CIOs outlined opportunities for collaboration as a way to achieve technological sovereignty. For vStack, this topic is one of the key ones. Experts regularly provide examples of finding alternative solutions. And it is not only about the importance of import substitution, but also about achieving sovereignty from any solutions with potential risks of losing technical support or access to the knowledge base.

The vStack platform was not developed for urgent import substitution, which became relevant in 2022. The solution has been in operation for more than three years and is positioned as an alternative, but not an analogue of foreign platforms. Participants of the meeting studied the properties of vStack, which are uncharacteristic for other solutions and distinguish the platform from Russian and foreign analogues.
