Actual availability

gradient

Actual availability is a parameter that determines the percentage of availability of one unit of consumption for the whole period. It is calculated by the following formula: ((CBP per period – downtime per period)/ total CBP) * 100%. For example, if total downtime is 6 hours per month and CBP = 24*7, the availability percentage = (30x24x60 – 6×60) / (30x24x60) x 100% = 99.17%
